New England PremiereIn the not-too-distant future, the price of gasoline has risen to more than 30 dollars per gallon and the automobile has become all but extinct. Bicycles, scooters, and the occasional motorcycle are now the only affordable modes of transportation; however, they all come up short in good old-fashioned American sex appeal. Teenagers are forced to screw in car graveyards as opposed to on Lover's Lane, and cheap floozies are stranded without muscles cars to promiscuously hop into. So, when local kindergarten teacher and gentle vegan Archie Andrews discovers a way to turn blood into fuel for his death-black Coupe, he becomes the coolest guy within 30 miles-per-gallon. With human blood fueling his popularity with the ladies, there's no limit to the coitus and carnage that will ensue.
In the footsteps of EVIL DEAD II and SHAUN OF THE DEAD, director Alex Orr has walked the blood-soaked path that connects horror with comedy and delivers a worthy contribution to the genre. Featuring bursting belly laughs alongside more gratuitous nudity (or "gratudity") and violence than you can shake a severed leg at, this one is not to be missed. BLOOD CAR's visual-effects team churns out everything from razor slices to crushing axe blows—and, of course, a car's trunk modified to puree human beings. The sheer volume of gore is enough to add the taste of corn syrup to your popcorn. BLOOD CAR is one hell of a cult vehicle!

preceded by The Rambler
A stranger takes to the lonely highway with his guitar and traveling sack. Every rambler's got a story, but this one involves some strange experiments in a remote outpost, and some even odder people.
