Selected for this year’s Cannes Film Festival, and set in the Tel Aviv suburb of the same name, Jaffa features stellar Israeli actors Ronit Elkabetz (The Band’s Visit), Moni Moshonov (Two Lovers) and Dana Ivgy (Kippur).  With the action centered around the family car repair shop in which most of the characters work, this dramatic film is a Romeo and Juliet story – only this time Romeo is an Arab and Juliet is Jewish.  Hebrew with subtitles
