The Modern Happiness Tour
Tuesday, Oct 23, 2018 8:00 PM
$26.50 General Admission + Fees
Known for his confessional songwriting and high-energy live performances, Hutchinson’s soul pop is equally influenced by Stevie Wonder and Prince as Billy Joel and Paul Simon. Hutchinson’s major label debut Sounds Like This (“Rock & Roll,” “OK, It’s Alright with Me”) went viral in 2007 after being praised by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, landing him on the AOL, MSN, Yahoo!, and VH1 “must watch” lists. “Unlike his contemporaries, Eric Hutchinson has broken through the limits of a stale genre and created a piece of pop that is refreshingly inventive and uniquely soulful,” writes Pop Matters.
