This holiday classic comes to life with performances by dancers from Nolte Academy. The production features a live orchestra, consisting of local musicians conducted by Carey Bostian. This year, e will be introducing new costumes, a new set, and new choreography from Nutcracker Artistic Director Mauro Villanueva, all while embracing the classic Nutcracker we have all grown to love.

Join us in welcoming Interim Ballet Director and Nutcracker Artistic Director, Mauro Villanueva. In 2000, Villanueva joined The Joffrey Ballet in Chicago where he danced for 13 years. During his career with The Joffrey Ballet, he spent every summer learning and studying in San Antonio with faculty that worked directly with Robert Joffrey. Joffrey Texas was established by Mr. Joffrey in 1978 where Villanueva served as director for two years.
