Columbia University Film Festival Screenwriting Night


The closing night event of the 34th Annual Columbia University Film Festival (CUFF)! Screenwriting Night is an evening of screenplay readings and awards hosted in-person for the first time since 2019. This year’s ceremony will include eight short readings from scripts submitted to the festival’s Screen and TV Writing Competition. The event will also include an awards ceremony honoring screenwriters within Columbia’s MFA Film Program and the winner of the festival’s Andrew Sarris Award to an outstanding alum of the program.



 

The festival after party will take place immediately after the event.

Beginning Friday, April 29, 2022, The Riverside Church will no longer check for proof of vaccination. Patrons must wear mask upon arrival and while they are roaming the building.
