What it is: An adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's groundbreaking work of gonzo journalism, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas follows a drug-addled journalist and his equally drug-addled attorney on a psychedelic journey to the heart of American darkness in Las Vegas.
Why we're showing it: From visionary director Terry Gilliam, this film is a darkly comedic romp charting the end of the 1960s through Hunter S. Thompson's bleakly hilarious lens.
