Film Synopsis: Dodging the crowded bustle and choked streets of Mumbai, five 30-something friends find an outlet for their frustrations by playing Sunday soccer on Juhu Beach. Then, fate intervenes in the form of a sweet but senile old man, and they are forced to search for another space to play – an impossible task in Mumbai. Writer/Director Milind Dhaimade has a firm grip on the young, beleaguered Indian middle class with a story that shifts effortlessly from one young man to the next, focusing on their trouble forming relationships and, even more basic – on their difficulty in simply growing up.

You Are My Sunday is a film about men, but throughout, the women are the responsible, capable ones who hold down executive jobs, raise children with disabilities, or have extraordinary social skills that prove them capable of mending fences and hurts. You Are My Sunday is a charming and loving look at contemporary India.
