St. Pete is in the midst of a sewage crisis. Since 2015, the Mayor’s Administration and City staff have been willfully negligent in correcting the water issues, which have culminated in the largest sewage discharges in Florida state history. The actions of the City have resulted in 89 felonies and 103 first-degree misdemeanors in violation of the Clean Water Act. This continues to impact Tampa Bay, it's surrounding waters and aquifer, and human health. This is St. Pete Unfiltered.
