Please join us for the bay area screening of THE PUSHOUTS, a powerful documentary by activist and award-winning filmmaker Katie Galloway that explores the devastating effects of our country’s broken school system on the children in the black and latino communities. This film is an eye-opening journey through the personal lens of survivor and mentor Victor Rios, as he attempts to transform the lives of at-risk students at the most critical stage of their lives.

IN-HOUSE GUESTS: Victor Rios (award winning author and UCSB professor), Frankie Gomez (UnCommon Law Board Member and 2018 Winner of Juvenile Law Center Leadership Award), and Director Katie Galloway.
