THE PUSH
The PUSH is the story of how perseverance, positivity, and the power of love can motivate anyone facing adversity.
Lake Tahoe native Grant Korgan was a successful scientist, an elite athlete, and a newlywed when he became paralyzed in a snowmobiling accident in 2010. A year later, he was offered a chance to become the first person with a spinal cord injury to attempt to push himself ~100 miles to the South Pole, using only his arms. Brutal weather, demanding topography and presumed physical limitations are just some of the challenges Grant and his guide, Kentfield native Tal Fletcher, faced along the journey. The PUSH team hopes to inspire others to attempt the seemingly insurmountable in their life, to push their own everyday limits, and to live up to their ultimate potential.
