The Last Laugh w/ Director Ferne Pearlstein November 3rd & 4th
The Last Laugh dares to ask: “Are we allowed to joke about the Holocaust?” At times both outrageously funny and thought-provoking, the documentary puts the question to comedians Mel Brooks, Sarah Silverman, Gilbert Gottfried, and many others, in addition to public figures and survivors. The answers offer fresh insights into the Holocaust, 9/11, AIDS, racism, and about what is or isn’t off-limits in a society that prizes freedom of speech.
