Junior Scouts will explore the concepts of buoyancy and energy in this hands-on design challenge. Scouts will use the design thinking process to brainstorm, design, create, and improve their own rubber band-powered paddle boats that they will get to take home at the end of the workshop. This challenge focuses on essential 21st century skills including collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. Additionally, Junior Girl Scouts will receive the Paddle Boat Design Challenge badge at the conclusion of the workshop.
