Description

The documentary, "THE OVIATT BUILDING" will screen along with a Q&A with writer/producer and Oviatt historian Marc Chevalier and director Seth M. Shulman. This event is in celebration of the recently completed HD re-master of the 2008 film. "THE OVIATT BUILDING" is the untold story of downtown Los Angeles' first Art Deco jewel: the 1928 Oviatt Building and its opulent penthouse. Though many of you know the Oviatt Building for the vintage Cicada Nightclub, this Art Deco gem began life as a fine men’s clothing store.

Director Seth Shulman and writer/producer and Oviatt historian Marc Chevalier will appear together to screen some extras and to provide an update on this fantastic historic building in downtown Los Angeles, on Sunday, November 15 at 4:00 PM PT.
