Ten years ago this November 16th, a Vermont T-Shirt artist known as “Bo the Eat More Kale guy,” took to social media to say that the fast food giant Chick-fil-A had ordered him to cease and desist printing T-Shirts with the words “Eat More Kale.” What happened next, Bo said, “The world responded.” Vermont and the Bright Green Nothing takes a deep dive into a story that was broadcast around the world from Vermont, seen by millions, and moved over a hundred thousand people to physically do something to support Bo Moore and his T-Shirt business. Written and directed by James Lantz, Vermont and the Bright Green Nothing will have its World Premiere at VTIFF on the story’s tenth anniversary.
