ABOUT RUSSELL GOLDMAN

Russell Goldman is a writer and filmmaker from Virginia. He is a screenwriter of the upcoming Blumhouse feature Mother Nature, based on his forthcoming graphic novel. His newest short Return to Sender (starring Allison Tolman) was the opening night selection of HollyShorts and has since been invited to 20 film festivals including Fantastic Fest, LA Shorts and Flickers' RIFF. His earlier shorts No Comment and I Make Good Sounds at Parties have played film festivals around the world. He is producing partners with Jamie Lee Curtis for Comet Pictures, which has a first-look deal at Blumhouse.

 

ABOUT COMET PICTURES

Founded by Jamie Lee Curtis in 2019, Comet Pictures is a film, television and podcast production company with a first-look deal with Blumhouse, where Curtis has produced and starred as Laurie Strode in a Halloween trilogy. Comet's produced work includes three best-selling seasons of an Audible scripted comedy/mystery podcast Letters From Camp, co-created by Curtis and written by Boco Haft; a horror short Return to Sender, starring Allison Tolman and directed by Curtis' producing partner Russell Goldman (a feature adaptation is in development).
