25th Barrie Film Festival Anniversary Edition of the Directors' Brunch with Steve McEown

For this anniversary edition of the Directors' Brunch, we are welcoming our own very talented and experienced director and producer, Steve McEown. For several years, Steve has been directing and producing award winning documentaries for ROGERS tv. Two of his projects, My Christian Island and Through Their Eyes, have won the prestigious Edward R. Murrow award. While Steve's documentary projects specialize in local content, they tend to reflect universal themes and raise far reaching questions. We will see clips from some of Steve's best work and listen to Steve talk about the behind the scenes research and events leading to the finished documentary.
The Brunch will begin with a generous breakfast buffet featuring a delicious assortment of food and drink, including mimosas.
