What it is: In this romantic, musical comedy, a fashion magazine publisher on the search for the next big thing finds it in a shy, philosophical book clerk played by Audrey Hepburn. While the publisher tries to transform her into a model, romance ensues between the clerk and the publisher's photographer (Fred Astaire).
Why we're showing it: All February long, the Artcraft Theatre is featuring some of the greatest movie romances of all time. Funny Face is the musical debut of Audrey Hepburn, pairing her with legendary song and dance man Fred Astaire, as they both perform songs by George and Ira Gershwin.
