June 27 - Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Scheduled to show on 35mm film.

- As part of the Summer Break Series, all tickets are $5 and include a small popcorn/soda combo. Tickets on sale for members 5/31; for the general public on 6/7 between noon and 1 p.m.

What it is: Based on the popular series of young adult mystery books, Nancy Drew follows the amateur sleuth on an adventure as she looks to solve the mystery of an unsolved mysterious death that took place in her vacation home.

Why we're showing it: Nancy Drew is one of the most popular book series in the world, with almost a century of continual publication and over a hundred books published in the series. Featuring the capable, self-assured Nancy Drew and her stalwart friends, this film is a new story that adapts the beloved character to a modern setting.

But wait, there's more: The Artcraft Book Club meeting will be held immediately after the film, in the Artcraft cottage at 49 E Madison Street. Presented in partnership with the Wild Geese Bookshop (just across the street from the cottage), the Artcraft Book Club explores the relationship between the written word and cinema, connecting adapted films with their source material. To attend, purchase the Tuesday, 11:50 a.m.  ticket (which includes entry to the film). Attendance is limited to 15 people. FHI members can reserve up to 2 complimentary tickets. Books may be purchased in advance from the Wild Geese Bookshop - book purchase is not required to attend. The Book Club will include in-depth discussions including plot points, so please be aware if you have not yet seen the film or read the book.

If you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with a sick individual, for the safety of others, please do not attend. Refunds are available for illnesses - please contact the Will Call office by phone or email.

Effective June 1, 2022, the Artcraft has instituted a 3.25% fee on credit card orders to cover the cost of credit card company fees.
