Description

Adrenaline USA 2006, 90 min. Director: Robert Lynn Producers: Lynn, Drew Langer Executive Producers: Curt Jones, Efraim Wyeth Screenwriters: David Alford, Robert Lynn Camera: David Trenkle Editor: Bridget Dursford MUSIC Paul Carrol Binkley Cast: David Alford, Reed Diamond, Kenda Benward, Scot Copeland, Clair Pakis Chris Thompson (David Alford) is an ordinary guy. He has just started his own business and bought a new car. It has all the bells and whistles: hands-free phone, on-board computer, satellite system for navigation, 24-hour operator-assisted help line. He takes his new pride and joy to meet his wife Lisa and pick up their ten-year-old daughter Cassie. But after he drops Cassie off at her swimming lesson, his ordinary life is turned upside down - his car suddenly stops, and when he dials up his Sat-Assist system for help, on the other end is a man who has hacked into the company's network. He now has control of Chris's car and can pinpoint his location at all times. And, he says, he has Cassie. Chris' unseen antagonist forces him to perform a series of tasks, and if he fails in any of them, he will lose his daughter. Chris tries to figure out how to escape the trap he's in and struggles with a moral dilemma: what is he willing to do and how far is he willing to go in order to save his daughter's life? Taking place in real time and filmed in one continuous shot in Nashville, Adrenaline is a riveting and groundbreaking cinematic experience.
