What it is: Cool Runnings: The Reggae Movie documents the 1983 Reggae Sunsplash music festival in Montego Bay, Jamaica, with performances from Third World, The Skatalites, Gil Scott-Heron, Rita and Ziggy Marley, Musical Youth and other legendary reggae, ska and dub musicians.

Why we're showing it: The Midweek Music Movie series presents the best in music and movies, whether concert films, documentaries, biopics or films with legendary soundtracks. Cool Runnings: The Reggae Movie highlights the music of Jamaica, capturing an incredible lineup of Jamaican music icons. Filmmaker and former Endowed Char at Ball State Robert Mugge will be in attendance, to introduce the film and to host a Q&A about this rarely seen, but very well-regarded concert film, and to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

If you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with a sick individual, for the safety of others, please do not attend. Refunds are available for illnesses - please contact the Will Call office by phone or email.
