What it is: With flying saucers and interstellar transports, aliens abduct Earth's top scientist to help them fight an interstellar war.
Why we're showing it: The Universal Horror Monster Madness festival features five classic films from Universal Studio, featuring some of their most fun but lesser seen monster movies. This Island Earth is one of the last in Universal Studio's decades-long run, putting a cap on the Universal Monsters with an iconic creature design and a classic of sci-fi cinema.
