Golda

Helen Mirren stars alongside Liev Schreiber in a ticking-clock thriller as Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir, whose tough leadership and compassion would ultimately decide the fate of her nation.

“Helen Mirren's playing of Golda as a woman of steel, unafraid to take tough decisions, is astute; she also looks remarkably like the real Golda. ."
-- The Indian Express

“Mirren portrays Meir in her darkest days at the height of the 1973 Yom Kippur War with empathy and loving subtlety. It’s hard to imagine anyone doing it better, and this is territory that was once mined by Ingrid Bergman."
G. Allen Johnson, San Francisco Chronicle
