Lisa’s Legacy, a Fort Wayne-based nonprofit provider of free resources specifically for grief awareness and coping, is hosting a free grief awareness movie event at Cinema Center. Lisa’s Legacy is a non-profit organization that offers age- and ability-appropriate grief bags filled with items designed to be useful or bring comfort to someone who is grieving. Each grief bag includes an age-appropriate book about grief. The bags are available for adults, teens, and children and are available at no cost to the giver or the recipient. Additional grief resources are available on the website. Lisa’s Legacy is funded solely by donations, grants, and awareness events.
