What it is: A rookie pitcher with control problems is sent to down to the minor leagues to be coached by a veteran catcher. As the two butt heads, they also find themselves embroiled in a love triangle with a sultry baseball groupie.
Why we're showing it: Bull Durham is one of the great baseball movies, with great chemistry between stars Tim Robbins, Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon. Based on writer/director Ron Shelton's own experiences as a minor league ballplayer, Bull Durham is a fun, witty film which ends up being about more than just sports.
