April 25 - Thursday at 7:30 p.m. - Our Town Players and Lux Radio Theatre present a live performance in the old radio style - the Egg and I and Little Women! Free admisssion, with donations appreciated. This is not a ticketed event.


What it is: Two radio dramas performed live on stage by Our Town Players from their original scripts as presented by the Lux Radio Theatre, with the classics The Egg and I and Little Women.


The Egg and I: The story of a young married couple who become chicken farmers. Bettly follows her husband Bob to the countryside, where his dream is to be a successful chicken farmer. The problem is, their home is old and needs to be repaired and the baby chicks need constant care. When a rich single woman with a new house and new farm equipment flirts with Bob, Betty questions their decision to move to the farm in the first place.

Little Women: Little Women is the classic coming of age novel written by American novelist Louisa May Alcott, originally published in two volumes in 1868 and 1869. The story follows the lives of the four March sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy - and details their passage from childhood to womanhood.
