What it is: Featuring Charlie Chaplin's iconic Tramp character, The Kid follows him as he takes an abandoned child under his wing, involving him in his schemes and raising him as his own.
Why we're showing it: Written, directed, produced, edited and starring Charlie Chaplin, The Kid is regarded as one of his best films, as well as one of his personal favorites. This film will be accompanied by a live music score performed by Jay Warren - just how the film would have been screened in the 1920s.
