Game Night at the Museum - Loreloop with Nevada Humanities

Showings

Atomic Museum Fri, Oct 18 5:00 PM

Description

Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Loreloop is recoomended for ages 14 and up.

The Atomic Museum and Nevada Humanities are teaming up to bring you a night of exhibit exploration and engaging gameplay! Explore the history and significance of atomic testing in Nevada through Loreloop: The World We Live In, The World We Create, an original tabletop role-playing game created by Nevada Humanities and designed by Ashley Warren. A tabletop role-playing game is an interactive group story where your decisions determine the outcome.

Participants will embark on a mission from Loreloop to solve a mystery in an abandoned atomic testing community. Exploring an underground laboratory uncovers one scientist’s dream of a better future. This mission was created in consultation with the Atomic Museum team and features themes, topics, and events that visitors can learn about in detail at the museum.

Friday, October 18th, 2024 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm

5 pm to 6 pm: Check-in and self-guided Atomic Museum exploration.

6 pm to 8 pm: Game Night - Loreloop sessions led by narrative designer Ashley Warren and Atomic Museum staff.
