Join us for a wonderful morning with Nina Keogh, a third-generation puppeteer and puppet builder who has contributed to numerous projects both on and off camera.
 
Her extensive portfolio includes iconic shows like: The Friendly Giant, Mr. Dressup, Razzle Dazzle, Groundling Marsh, Hello Mrs. Cherrywinkle, Polka Dot Door (as the first host), Sesame Park, Today’s Special, and Book Mice. Nina's influence extends beyond television, having participated in feature films, commercials, and large museum projects focusing on TV series retrospectives with puppet characters.
 
In addition to her creative work, Nina shares her expertise as an instructor and mentor at various institutions including: the Toronto Metropolitan University, York University, Niagara Theatre College, and Haliburton School of Fine Arts.
 
She is a visual artist, having owned two art galleries/studios in Toronto and Newfoundland. 
 
Nina was featured in, and was a Producer for the multi award-winning documentary Mr. Dressup: The Magic of Make-Believe, which had its premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival where it won the People’s Choice Award for Documentary. We will show some clips from the film that Nina will provide additional insights to, and she will share her own fascinating story and highlights from her multifaceted career. 

 

The morning will begin with a generous breakfast buffet featuring a delicious assortment of food and drink, including mimosas.
