SPECIAL EVENT
THE HEAD STRETCHERS SOCIETY: A SERIES OF SHORT FILMS
Friday, January 24 | 7 pm
Country of Origin: U.S.A.
Language: English
Runtime: 90
Tickets: $20
The Head Stretchers Society is an ideology based on curiosity, and inspired by a quote from Oliver Wendell Holmes: “One’s mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions.” To that end, the Society presents seven uniquely human short-form films, each film exploring individuals who stretch our perceptions and imaginations. These include artist Clark Russell, dumpling virtuoso Hong Yu, Lake Champlain Lakekeeper Julie Silverman, and many more. These short films reflect the creativity and diversity at work in Vermont. Several of the subjects – and nearly all of the film’s creators – will be on hand for this special event.
