Taft Gardens & Nature Preserve invites you to the celebration of its 5th annual Art in Nature Residency with an Evening Opening Exhibition & Fundraiser Dinner Saturday April 26, 2025. This event, aligned with our mission to explore the human-environment relationship, will showcase the innovative works of resident artists from Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
Our residency program provides creative professionals across all mediums with a unique opportunity to develop new works within the inspiring natural setting of Ojai’s secret garden hidden in the mountains above Lake Casitas. Residents are encouraged to engage deeply with the environment, drawing inspiration from the diverse natural resources on the property. Join us to witness the remarkable results of their creative exploration.

Meet the artists and explore the Opening Exhibitions.
6 -7 pm
Catered Dinner, buffet-style with open garden seating.
7 - 9 pm
Guests make their way to our open-air Amphitheater for presentations and Andrew Bird performance.
SUGGESTED DRESS: Semi-formal with comfortable shoes.

- or the Free Daytime Art in Nature Exhibition Opening
All Artist-In-Resident Exhibitions will be viewable at both events.
