Joyful Noise
Join General Mischief Dance
Theatre for this playful and uplifting performance featuring new collaborations
with percussionist Pablo Eluchans, TAIKOPROJECT, and Hodi Maputo Afro Swing!
The show also features the fantastic Zara Lawler (aka The Flute on Its Feet)
and the debut of some delightful Mischief creations.
Cast includes: Jane Abbott,
Maiko Harada, Saki Masuda, Richard Sayama, Samantha Siegel, Peter Trojic, Emily
Smyth Vartanian, Juniper Viernes, the fabulous feet of Alexandra Williamson,
and some surprise special guests!
This performance is
supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of
Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council as well as the New York
State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and
the New York State Legislature. General Mischief’s work is also supported by
Dance/NYC’s Dance Advancement Fund, made possible by the Howard Gilman
Foundation and the Ford Foundation.
Performers may be using the aisles throughout the
show.
