A boy leaves his small country town and heads to the big city to get a job. As soon as he makes it big his sweetheart will join him and marry him. His enthusiasm to get ahead leads to some interesting adventures.

Evan Losoya is a composer, pianist, and oboist from the San Francisco Bay Area. His music spans multimedia presentations, recitals, and film, including silent cinema.
Evan's compositions have been performed throughout the United States as well as internationally in cities such as Vienna, Austria and São Paulo, Brazil. Since 2021, he has served as chairman of the Grand Arts Consortium, where he has composed and transcribed several film scores for the Grand Feature Film Orchestra (GFFO). Most recently, the GFFO performed his score for Buster Keaton’s 1924 silent comedy Sherlock Jr.
Evan is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition at the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, where he is also completing a Master of Music in Music Theory Pedagogy. He holds degrees from the California Institute of the Arts (M.F.A.) and the University of California, Santa Barbara (B.A., minor in Linguistics).

We're a nonprofit San Francisco based group of professional musicians and engineers. Our orchestra can range in size fro 7 to 35+ musicians.
With a passion for how music, sound effects, and visual media come together to tell stories, The Grand Feature Film Orchestra presents creative original and restored film scores live with the movie perfectly synchronized with the action on the screen.
Pulling from legendary classic cinema, the GFFO brings historic world-premiere performances mixed with modern flavors to ensure an exciting and unforgettable live concert experience.
In addition to our professional presentations, the GFFO provides free training for aspiring students from high school to advanced college level in film scoring, live performance and engineering. We're dedicated to steward and empower projects that foster community and civic participation and facilitate cultural engagement and free expression.
We're committed to advancing creative connections in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (S.T.E.A.M.) through student projects in collaboration with professional artists and engineers.
