Foley & Sound Effects Workshop

Foley& Sound Effects will focus on the art and craft of Foley as it complements and contrasts with sound effects in film. Using examples from various film clips to distinguish sound effects and Foley and their specific methods of design, as well as the purpose of the craft, Dr. Ament will illustrate the various genres and styles that articulate the various approaches of Foley in film sound. Attendees will be given the opportunity to learn more about film sound design, Foley, and voice replacement as they are applied in every type of film and television show as Dr. Ament shares her 25 years of Hollywood experience in this fun and informative workshop.
