CITY ON THE WATER

With 520 miles of waterfront, New York City is truly a water city. Everywhere you go, there are tunnels and bridges, to such a degree that some have dubbed the waterways that encircle the city “the sixth borough.”

RESTORING THE CLEARWATER

For nearly a year, the historic sloop “Clearwater” was docked, enduring what wooden boats have endured forever: restoration. Jon Bowermaster’s Oceans 8 film crew documented the restoration and return of the ship to the Hudson.

SEEDS OF HOPE

A combined effort of the Hudson Valley Farm Hub, Hudson Valley Seed Library and the Akwesasne Tribe of northern New York to preserve several varieties of Native American seeds, their rich agricultural heritage and its stories.
