Double bassist, vocalist, composer/arranger, and teacher Blake Shaw brings a wide variety of inspiration to the table. Being an ambitious and hungry bassist has helped him gain a plethora of experience in many genres of music. In his own project, The Blake Shaw Quintet, he not only showcases his original compositions but adds a mix of jazz-influenced arrangements that take swing music to the next level. When Blake plays solo he utilizes loop pedals with his bass and vocals to create the atmospheres he misses without his friends around.
