International screen icon Delphine Seyrig (LAST YEAR AT MARIENBAD) stars as Elizabeth Bathory, an ageless Countess with a beautiful young companion (Andrea Rau). But when the two women seduce a troubled newlywed couple (Danielle Ouimet and John Karlen) at a Belgian seaside hotel, they unleash a frenzy of violence and desire that shocked both arthouse audiences and grindhouse crowds worldwide upon the film's release. Co-written and directed by Harry Kumel, DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS remains one of the most exquisitely mesmerizing Euro horror films ever made, featuring a classic score by François de Roubaix.
