Filmed concurrently with the 1931 English version, this Spanish-language DRÁCULA was shot using the same Universal sets, but featuring an alternate cast hailing from all over the world, starring Spain’s Carlos Villarías as Count Dracula. The resulting film is longer, with a script that fills in more story details, and features strikingly different direction and performances.
