FAR OUT follows a group of radical journalists who, in 1968, amidst a left wing faction fight, leave New York City for Montague, MA to become pioneers in the back-to-the-land and organic farming movement. Post-film discussion with director Charles Light and commune members Sam Lovejoy and Verandah Porche. Sponsored by UMass Amherst Libraries and the Robert S. Cox Special Collections and University Archives Research Center.
