Ridley Scott’s lush, sensuous adult fairy tale bombed in theaters back in 1985 but found a second life once audiences discovered it on cable and VHS. Tom Cruise plays a young wilding who must rescue an innocent princess (Mia Sara, FERRIS BUELLER’S DAY OFF) from the Satanic claws of Darkness, a muscular walking nightmare played with immense ferocity by the legendary Tim Curry. We will be screening the U.S. theatrical cut featuring a score by Tangerine Dream.
