Directed by F.W. Murnau, this seminal vampire film follows Thomas Hutter as he journeys to the remote castle of the mysterious Count Orlok, unknowingly unleashing an ancient evil that follows him home. An original score by the Andrew Alden Ensemble complements the film’s haunting imagery and creeping terror with a visceral blend of strings, piano, synthesizers, percussion, and electric guitar.
